    FESA Tryouts

Is it over? Have they already decided? Poaching any top players from other clubs? Free ID camps for outsiders? Taking donations and getting messy behind the dumptser to fill a few spots left? Does anyone ever get relegated from an ECNL team or are they encouraged to quit or leave the club? Or better yet, FESA keep their money and keep them on the bench until they get a clue?

They aren’t the only ones doing it. My daughter got an invite from FKK and we live 6 hours away from them and don’t know a soul there.

Players wil gravitate to the highest level team they can make unless it is DA commitment they don't want or six hours away!

So you either live in Atlanta, Pensacola or the keys if you are 6 hours from FKK... seriously, you should have just gone with 2 or 3 hours... but you had to go 6....

Take the offer. Fkk is not a great club, they don’t seem to do a good job of developing players, coaching seems subpar, as their ecnl teams have struggled as a whole, despite having two to three times as many kids try out in comparison to Orlando City. Good luck, as not sure I would drive 6 hours for that mess.

Not sure if the poster is new to TS, Florida soccer or what, but if I’m driving 6 hours, which is crazy by the way, there’s no way I’m driving 6 hours to FKk. I mean it’s not exactly a highly rated club, check their overall Ecnl record. I’d look north, Georgia soccer, wherever, but would be hesitant to waste that kind of time with Florida soccer clubs. Living local is one thing, but you’d be better off finding other ways to spend 6 hours. If you’re kid is good and talented, a college will notice at some point, as there are plenty of avenues to get there.

Does it matter? Just have your checkbook ready when they march you over to the cash registers. The more paying bodies, the merrier.

Armada boys DA will have their DA team tryouts and teams locked down before FESA tryouts. That way, FESA can fight for their rejects and leftovers to play in the B leagues. For gosh sake, if you son is one of the few really good players sick of languishing in Bubb's program, you owe it to yourself to find out what serious soccer development and competition is all about. The younger age you make the switch, the better your chance to secure a spot. Demand is high. You got nothing to lose other than another year and time squandered at Veterans. Armada tryouts are by invitation only so you have to be qualified in advance.

You better hope some talent comes over to Armada. 16/17 and 18/19 Boys are at the bottom of the standings.

It's tough when you step up and take on top shelf competition. Or you could settle and play down in a girls B league at another club not worthy of DA.
