It was a great play, but it wasn't how either team played the entire game. That's how it was able to work.
AU did a few long, direct play outs too. The pass to DeVanna who was just lurking up the sideline was a highlight.
Both teams worked it out of the back most of the game though. overall good, well struck passes.
It was a good game; a lot of action.

Tobin is amazing as is Rapinoe. Her flick to Horan to Morgan was fun to watch. I don't see Pugh in the starting line up. She's a super sub.
For Australia, Kerr, wow. She was getting off shots that were slightly off target dragging 2-3 players around her. This world cup is going to be very entertaining and hopefully this is an indication that we should see more good games than not from all the teams.

Agreed. Hopefully Ellis can see that just playing long ball doesn't work.
Trick the opponent to expect a mid-field ball and send it to the top. Nice.

What are you smoking? It's only the women. On the men's side, after h.s., from college on up through the national team, it's only tik-tok, possession, soccer. As long as your kid doesn't start on the bench, he or she will learn this style at OW.
