Pretty sure every coach would love to have a whole team with his work rate in a game. Sounds like someone is jealous that he comes from money.
It’s not jealousy it’s reality ! Connections put him where he is . For you to say that’s not true makes you look a little foolish . Isn’t this why parents are scrambling to pay big bucks to play very low level soccer at junior level ? He played for Stanford because daddy put him there, do you honestly believe he got a soccer scholarship ? If anything daddy probably went to standford too !

DUDE. there is so much wrong with soccer in the US, Sounders are not perfect, but dang, attacking Jordan Morris as the symbol of everything wrong? So misguided. Will second the person who said he works hard. Sounders will cut anyone who doesn't perform. This is business. Having a connection through dad certainly doesn't hurt but the kid still has to deliver and he does. You sound cranky.

I don't if it's a good thing or a bad thing that the Washington forum is apparently just as spiteful and nasty as the Oregon one.

It sounds like typical pnw/woke envy to me. Morris may not be the savior of US soccer but it's a stretch to say his success is from his dad. He has been effective at every level. Plus he has added a dynamic to this years Sounders that seems to be adding to the Ruidiaz effect.

Nah, Florida and Mass forums are just as nasty.

Anonymous forums for soccer parents is like Walmart on Black Fridays . . . wait until the coaches discover this forum ( :

Pnw woke??? Come on he’s one of your own ! Ultra upper class and full of smoke blown up his ass !! I’d say there is a massive case of protectionism here . Pull back the blinkers and wake up !! There is no chance he would of made it to the sounders without daddy . Daddy paid for the best coaching and the best schools and then daddy’s connections got him where he is ! There is millions of kids out there who could achieve much greater heights with that much of a leg up .

You may be right, but you could say the same about most American-born players in MLS or NWSL. The way soccer operates in the US is as an elite sport. Why do you thing the women's team faces constant criticism for the mostly white USWNT roster but nothing changes? There are problems in soccer but to pull Jordan Morris out as the example when the problem is endemic is completely unfair to him. He had advantages to reach that level, but he has to do the work to stay there. Fight the system, not a 22 year old kid.

If the mnt was all white /black /yellow / brown I couldn give two ****s as long as long as it was the best players being picked . Pay to play soccer is the biggest killer of talent in the US . Far too many coaches on a wage coaching the talent out of kids in the quest to run around cones all practise to make them seem Like they are of value !
