So why does the current U18/19 OW team have so many players that list OW all the way back to U13 on their DA profile? http://oakw.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams...p?team=7550256

YTL starts around U9. U13 is when the start to drop the hammer. Typically when they jump from 8v8 to full sided is when the boom gets lowered.

So they replace everyone at U13 and then keep 90% of them?

Oh, it's been worse. Now OW is getting players who can't make h.s. varsity, the teams will stabilize some. Ow won't be able to recruit stronger players and stronger players won't want to join. It's a win-win-win.

YTL at OW starts well before U9 ... more like U6/7: https://www.oakwoodsoccer.com/2018-19-tryout-results

So you think all of the U18/19 players should have started in YTL or else it proves OW doesn't develop players?

CFC: Kick Ball Champs 2019!! Other clubs need to play "big keeper kicks to big striker and score" style of play. Great development all around, especially the other 7 kids on the field. At least you have perfected that and your are WINNING.

Very nice. 2007 is going to be a very strong class for United.

Wrong! Those kids playing in NEP will stay at their branch in NEP until U19. The kids up North rarely even bother with United anymore. Ironic after how much the Wolves contributed to the early days of CFC.

I see 5 kids that made the jump this year to United which seems about right.

                          United make-up is usually balanced
                          8/9 kids Arsenal
                          4/5 kids Wolves
                          3/4 kids South
                          4/5 kids from parts unknown

The ones who "don't bother" are the ones that don't make ECNL. If the choice is NEP or CFCU NPL then staying with Wolves is probably a better choice. But if you make ECNL you take it.

No one turns down the ECNL team in favor of the Wolves. Agree, Wolves and the NPL squad are probably a toss up. The difference is exposure. NPL team gets an automatic bid to PDA. For players with college aspiration, that's the event.

Why is CFC north 2007 claiming to be NPL champions when they played in NEP? Now they will play clubs second or third teams in the regional league instead of the good competition they have in NEP.
