The debacle in FL in a demising league without ecnl teams could be a serious indication of NEFC decline as an elite club.

NEFC should be allowed in ecnl. Then Stars can get beat by 3 teams in State instead of just SSS and seacoast.

Not sure if it was due to pride, fear of competition, or some other factor. But, teams own the league and make up the rules.

That's the impression I got. But, you play the hand you're dealt. Many reasons to choose one over the other, but if there's only one option, you go with that one.
We are in GDA, in part to that's what is offered and part due to logistics of getting to an ECNL team are too cumbersome. High School isn't a "have to have", just a "it's be cool".
Speaking only for myself mind you.
I don't see it as an admittance of one over the other. I'm sure if the ECNL clubs were only in GDA, they'd be pumping it up (and, before the rug was pulled out, many did).

Debacle is a bit of a stretch. Some of you just can't stop yourself from creating a stir. Shows the insecurities more than anything else.
Looking at the scores, everyone but one was a close game and looked to be entertaining. Better results at the younger age groups. But, if you are looking at the game scores to mean anything, you have your priorities wrong.
Typical club soccer fools.

For the most part all the clubs did poorly with the exception of NY Fury. Even NYCFC which was more dominant last year has had a mixed record this year.
Now of course wins and losses dont tell the whole picture. But teams are carefully matched by USSF and many teams didn't even have competitive games. Last year everyone felt the NE was weaker but now it's clear and seems to be getting worse. Does anyone think adding Seacoast or Alby was an improvement (other than for geography)?
