WFF, Weston all the Florida GDA teams are second to Florida ECNL teams and some Florida FSPL and CDL teams. WFF had 3 GDA teams lose to FL Rush CDL teams.

Florida GDA is overpriced glorified NPL.

What nonsense? The only nonsense is parents keeping their girls in a failing Florida GDA. 4 nights a week of crap training, consistently playing horrible soccer, poor results in Winter Showcase and league play. Get off the titanic while you can parents, this league is drowning in Florida.

How long will you allow your girl to be a guinea pig for this for this failing program.

At least when Top Hat drops GDA at the end of the season USSF will likely shrink the SE division to only include FL clubs, so the travel expense will decrease a bit. I guess that is good news.

How is the training so great at prime , most of the time you have 40 girl “training” cause TT didn’t feel like showing up that day

I agree about the standard of GDA in FL. I don't believe high school soccer would be a factor of the product at the club level was better. The GDA is a good league, but SFFA and Weston are not doing a good job of keeping the interest level of the players. I don't know the depths of other FL clubs but they don't seem to be doing much better. Having success at GDA level can happen, clubs need to bring in a staff that can make it happen. Weston and Boca don't have the people to make it a good experience for players.

With that being said. I also must point out that FC Prime are terrible. AH and TT are only after what money they can pull in and don't care about anything else. AH is the worst. Ask anyone around the DA and ECNL. As former parents and players. This guy is a fraud.

IMO, the ECNL and GDA aren't helping to raise the standard of girls soccer. It could be done well at the local level, however USYS stink too.

What team is your child on at FC Prime? I presume younger because on the older teams most kids and parents(you will never bat 100%) are happy. When I further reflect on it, and this site,probably 100% you are active with another club. We all get it. Hide behind the computer,bash others so you can promote your own club. Fact is that right now FC Prime is the best option,as the Weston and Boca DA's were last year.It is not for everyone, so be happy with those you have,and not those you don't. Nobody is switching teams because of your rant. You have more of a chance changing a political preference with a rant of Facebook.

FC Prime is doing so poorly that a new "league" is being formed for Weston,Sunrise,West Pines,Gardens,Jupiter and others and now Weston and Boca DA are not as strong as they used to be with a few girls considering migrating. Sunrise hates FC Prime-we understand why. People hate those clubs that dilute them. Nobody complains about weak programs-they only complain about those that are better. I never hear anything about Plantation,West Pines,Team Boca, Gardens, or Jupiter-that is because they are programs that nobody cares about that play entirely different leagues with lesser completion.Still good,but but I believe slower,and yes,lesser. That is probably why FC Prime does not respond with the same open animositytowards Sunrise.

GDA will never be the top league in Florida, ECNL is the top league. FSPL is stronger than GDA in Florida. GDA might not fold, but it will be comprised of 2nd and 3rd tier players as it is a money grab league for overpaid overrated coaches.

GDA will fold in Florida after another season and ECNL will continue to grow and expand. More girls will be leaving GDA at the end of this year to play ECNL and HS soccer next season. Girls want to play HS soccer and GDA has no plans of allowing HS Soccer.

But not enough quality players want to give up high school to play GDA. They built a league that is much greater in size than demand. Just because you build it doesn't mean they will come. Ussf assumed they would.

I remember when ECNL first came to Florida. DOC said, NPL and ODP are the best ways to college and National camp invites. Then we got it. Now its, DA will fail, ECNL is the best league for college and USSF still heavily recruits from ECNL.

Considering GDA is only two years old, it is doing just fine. If ECNL did not make the allowances for the founding clubs to have two teams and some financial incentives to return, they probably wouldn't have.

The one thing you are right about is HS ball but time will tell. Most HS programs in FL are not very good. Same teams year after year. Was not a hard decision to give up HS ball for our girls but will admit, not having the choice is a annoying.

Still, your prediction of doom for GDA is misplaced. More likely false bravado from a coach or DOC as another poster said.

Not sure on the folding of GDA but you're right on ECNL. ECNL will continue to grow and get high level players. Heck even look at boys ECNL and how quick that has grown. More and more players are moving to ECNL, girls and boys.

The top 4-5 girls in GDA and possibly ecnl are playing d1 , maybe quarter scholarship , so who cares .

It’s not like men’s path, girls pro is silly , 15k a year? omg
