Florida Fire is all smoke and mirrors. The Merge profited a few. Time to make it all about the kids again and leave this disappointing disaster and go back to being the Sharks. Bring back GS as DOC.

That was an honest club that was all about the kids. No crazy club politics. No lies about leading to Professional American Soccer Clubs, no yelling at kids or extreme favoritism based upon who you are related to or how much you pay in “private training”. And they had the same amount of training days, league games, and tournament play as the club you would call not recreational.

CFJ era are gone. It’s back to what it was which is a few premier teams and mostly competitive rec.
Nothing wrong with it, but not sure where this thread is even going or what you’re trying to allude to? FFJ, LCS, and Azzuri are all community based non-profit clubs. Everything is public knowledge. GPS is a for-profit affiliation where they don’t report to a board, just RP. They go under the NFM banner, but it’s a different organization as they don’t have any say in GPS. If you are out to get someone, go after that one.

Sounds like you just have it out for Fire and for some reason want Sharks to be back? Times have changed. Look around the state. Everyone seems to either be a very well established club, have an affiliation with a brand in club soccer, or have an affiliation with a professional club.

They will still be here and still be playing crappy soccer like the rest of the clubs around here except for maybe GPS and/or Azzurrii who seems to have a little bit better plan/direction. Fire has a lack of good coaches and a DOC that doesn't seem to have a clear plan on style of play or oversight over his program. Its an embarassment to watch U12 players and up that don't have enough technical skills to trap a ball, make a well touched pass, etc. and no understanding of how soccer is supposed to be played (out from the back, triangles, making runs, overlaps, etc.) I don't know how a DOC in charge sees this on a week to week basis and is ok that it is the end product of his program. Sad. And same for the coaches entrusted with getting their players to play the right way. Very few teach soccer properly and when there team loses or get embarassed by teams who can they blame the lack of technical skills the players have and the players for not understanding how to play soccer correctly. There are very good soccer players in Naples they just don't play for Fire for these reasons. Lets be more accountable DOC and coaches and do your jobs not just collect your paycheck.
