Must be your son’s 1st year in Kaptiva. Kaptiva played a scrimmage late
last season vs one of these teams you talk about. Why don’t you
ask around see how that went? Let’s just say Kaptiva got mopped up pretty bad.

Why don’t you 1st try winning some tournaments and playing some descent teams
before assuming your son plays on a great team. If your son is playing
in the 2nd division of the FL State Premier league chances are , you are not
playing very good teams.

Have your coach set up a scrimmage versus one of the top 4 premier league teams.
Then you will have better understanding if your team is really that good or not. If you
want to go even further up the ladder, play a DA or a Ecnl team.

we are in 1st division too. they still have to play us. we dont make premier either but we dont say we can beat premier division teams. we go to finals at disney qualification. we beat West Florida Flames, Tie with Kendal reserve, beat RAD, beat Team Boca. they still have to play us. then if they win 1st division they can talk.

We at West Florida Flames have never played this team, unless you changed your name since last week.

In my opinion there are 3 teams standing out in the 2002 age group: Coral Estates, Doral and Bandits. Number 4-12 can beat each other on any given day, depending who shows up.

Than their are some other good teams here and their who are not ranked high due to the schedule they play but could very well compete in the top 10.

The team is Elite 2002 Black and yes they beat you WFF Brandon 3-0. So shut it! However the only high caliber team you have played is Coral Estates and you lost 4-1. So stop talking nonsense. You are at not level with the top three Premier teams that were mentioned.

I never say we can beat top 3 teams in Premier. I say Kaptiva has to play us still so til then they cant say they win 1st division so easy. Coral Estates was very good team. we have very weak goalie. made 2 bad mistakes. game closer than the score. I never say we can beat top teams so i no talk nonsense.

Yes it was Elite 2002 Black. We played WFF Brandon who was ranked 7 at the time ( rankings dont mean Jack ) but we did win 3-0. We are not at the level of the top 3 named teams and dont claim to be. But dont be surprised to see us much higher at the end of the year.

By the way, we were ranked 76 going into the Qualifier and because we made the finals we jumped to 19. Funny how 1 tournament can do that. Again, I dont claim that we can beat the top teams mentioned or even that we should be ranked higher or we should have been in Premier. We can compete though. Success is not always measure in results.

Tought we were talking about Kaptiva??? That team we never played. Yes, you beat us, not a problem. Was a good game and you guys played well.

If you stay of the brownie and read correctly, I never said WFF was a top team. You got 3 top teams and than 4-12 can beat anybody on any given day. And than there are teams like yours who are ranked lower, but good teams who because their schedule is lower ranked.

Better teams in premier, lesser teams in 1st division. Relegation at the end of the year allows two teams to move up and two to move down.

They allowed teams to apply to either division and then based on last year's finish they placed teams. Teams like Elite Black 2002 and Kaptiva who are in 1st Division seem to be having an easy time. Elite Black 2002 did not finish in the top 7 of FSPL last year and did not finish in Top 16 of SC so they were put in 1st Division. Kaptiva was not in FSPL but did not finish in Top 16 of SC. As previous, the top two from each division will play each other at the end for SC seating and placement in FSPL next year.
