Is SSS trying to hide the fact that they got into the GDA? No announcement of any of their social media or their website. So strange

The y want to keep all their players which will never happen. Girls are very upset about the high school stuff and will be leaving for Stars and Scorpions. Another bad move by a club just to get into a league.

What was SSS supposed to do? ECNL Mafia won't let them in, better to hoard players on existing teams than to let it expand. That's pride fvckin' witchooo....
Can't stay in NPL, that's now trashed.

I agree NPL has gone to way downhill with all these changes, as was predicted. But that genie is out of the bottle unfortunately.

line than ever let two more quality clubs (NEFC and SSS) into the league. Anyone who believe youth soccer is focused foremost on the players, I have a bridge to sell you.

I actually think they hope it worked. Then they could be the go to club for everything. As far as expanding, in order for ECNL to remain what it is, there has to be a sense of exclusivity. That is how they draw the best kids. Otherwise, we should just have one big NEP. Any kid who wants to play ECNL is free to go tryout at Stars or Scorps. Players are not limited or kept out of ECNL. If you are looking for convenience, then the ECNL is not for you. Most kids on those teams have quite the commute. Any they are lucky to live here in New England!
In our region, the teams with the exception of NEFC (Breakers last year), Oakwood (a few good teams) and NYCFC (a few of their teams were very good last year), weren't very good. Fury/Albertson's wasn't bad and is much better this year.
