GDA will have age brackets at u14 u15 u16 u17 and u18/19
How will that affect ECNL?
That will certainly help because the combined age groups was a major reason some clubs left the GDA. I think there is still enough difference between two, and in Florida with the clubs pretty evenly split it will not be as a big of a factor. HS soccer, the extra commitment to the DA, 10 month season etc can be plus to some and a minus to others.
Most of these girls play besides for the love of the game, but also with hope of playing college so which ever club is doing that better will have the edge regardless of league.

Agree. Do not think it will have a major effect to ECNL but it will to clubs without either.
Two different things here but boys ECNL keeps expanding even with boys DA.
It won't really impact ECNL much. Kids either want one platform or the other. In theory that drop with U16/17 only impacts about half a team. So then GDA picks up a few extra players for a year is all, and, again, some players just don't want it. The net/net is more dilution.

its girls soccer , losing a few extra players makes or breaks a competitive team
Weston boca prime all have 4-5 da/ecnl level players, lose those kids around and you get 16-0's

This is how it will affect ECNL. Girls in FL want to play HS soccer. More girls will leave GDA and go to ECNL. GDA will be more diluted with another division and players leaving for ECNL.
This will make ECNL stronger. That is how it will affect the ECNL.

GDA girls are playing HS. Starting Monday you will see the HS rosters all transform with "new" players. The no HS rule is not enforced. And especially for U18/19, they only want the winter showcase. After that, who cares?!

Everybody including HS coaches know the rules for GDA. HS coaches who take GDA players after the showcase will get blackballed. Other HS coaches will not schedule to play high schools who take GDA players in mid December (really January with the schools on break).

LMFAO. Blackballed? Schedules are already set through February. HS coaches could give 2 sh!ts about DA rules. Not their problem. Maybe when you come back from fantasyland, you'll be able to catch a game.
You said high school soccer !!! Lol , have you seen a high school game? its cute for the girls who also want to play softball and cheer . Anyone serious about a good college program will never consider it
