You're about a month early on the annual 'Sunrise' story, but go for it. Makes total sense. Sunrise is affiliated with Weston for supplying GDA players, so it would only be logical for them to take on another new league to dilute their existing teams. And ECNL is brilliant to award a franchise to a club with no facilities and in the exact same town as another ECNL team that is already struggling. Yep, totally believable.

The only way sunrise gets ECNL is they make a deal with WEst Pines and Prime FC.

They should just wait until Prime goes away on their own

Its really hysterical how the rumors on here are just made up. Sunrise is 100% committed to Weston DA as an affiliate club and is not and never will be ECNL. We will remain National league for all teams that are eligible and continue to play FL State Cup, help all players play college soccer, and watch ECNL fall apart because of the ridiculous cost and horrible training environment. Case closed.

Take one for the team Sunrise. Admit you are upset at Prime because they got the ECNL. They were awarded it over you-pretty sure we all know why. Then Weston suckers you with an affiliate program to take your so called best players which could not make prime or the Weston Da in the first place. May want to start looking at other leagues so at least you are a little competitive with whomever stays.

Ecnl and prime are growing. Da is now growing with your players.

Weston wants this to be the case more than anything. Sunrise has no use for Weston or being an affiliate club. Jerome is full of it and Weston folks gobbling it right up. Losers.
