3v3 or Futsal for middle schoolers ?

3v3 is no longer necessary after 10 years old. If your still playing then you are probably playing because you get little to no play time or can only run short distances. You should concentrate and prepare on getting to a bigger field once the kid turns 11 (11v11 field)

I don't like 3v3, much prefer 4v4 for training, but are you advocating that training take place in 11v11 sessions? Uhmmm, OK.........

Wrong. One guy stands in back while other two attack. There's no true triangle play. Plus 3v3 fields have tons of space for the number of players.

5v5 futsal teaches control in tight spaces.

Or 4v4. That's why clubs in Europe use it for training.

yes but 3v3 where one guy stands guard over a tiny goal is not very useful in learning to create triangles. i am not a big fan past say 8 years old.

100% agree and it looks like a few teams are doing this method....why bother? just for the medal?
