This actually isn’t true at all. But it’s fun to just make stuff up. There are foreign coaches (England, Ireland, Albania, Germany, Jamaica, Brazil, etc) littering the youth soccer landscape all over the country.

Not going through all the staff bios (not necessary), but quickly looked at 2 examples.

    Slammers (CA) staff - https://www.slammersfc.org/ecnl-girl...l-girls-staff/
Solar SC (TX) staff - https://www.solarsoccerclub.com/solarcoaches/
All those coaches from other countries are more passionate about developing players and winning rather than finding a wife and draining some pints

Any real scouting going on at the u17 level anyway? Most of those kids are seniors next year. Not being obnoxious here, just wondering if it's mostly wrapped up already and so something like this is pretty useless regardless.

and no one else qualified for anything. They've already lost their first game.

Is that really what you think? All college programs have all of their recruits locked up for the class of 2020?

Not the poster - not all will be done yet. Lowest levelD1 and D3 aren't finished, and not all U17s are juniors. But how many are going to watch FSA players in a lower bracket? Answer. Not many.

I doubt any coaches are going blindly to watch any teams .... if they have contacts from players and both are in attendance, they will usually go at least once to see a PLAYER ... not a team.

Sporting won 2 age groups. They beat OW 01-02 in penalty kicks. They beat a team from Mass in the other. Sporting is king on any size pitch!
