Ok, enough already with the slammers stuff. Who cares really.
Will these older teams be ECNL, if so , which one, the ECNL RL ? aka the NE NPL, which they already were in for years now? IF so, good for them to keep the reign in on the high level soccer leagues. I particularly dont care either way but I alwyas liked the competition when we played smithtown. Even back in the u little days. Good club and amazing fields out there in suffolk. Wish I lived closer. Good luck with the tryouts.

At that point LI soccer is total joke and field hockey, cross country, and maybe even softball and LAX become attractive options.

Until they announce ECNL then EDP will be pushed aside.

what have they done to get ECNL? Isn't there criteria they have to meet?

What makes you think your kids team will not jump to the LI Slammers? Cheaper than your current club with equivalent training.

Too far for 3-4x a week training, but no probs for a game!
Oh and my kid's team is already pretty successful in ECNL-no need to test the waters in an unproven club.
