Space Coast is being investigated in the mind of some soccer nut parent in Brevard who hates the club for some inexplicable reason. My son does not and has not ever played at Space Coast (although I know some of the coaches and the DOC). I am just an observer of the bizarre hatred a number of TS posters seem to have for any club their kid does not play at. This odd behavior includes some SCU parents who hate the other clubs as much as the above poster hates SCU.

Thank you for perfect example of the bizarre hatred described above. Where do your absurd beliefs come from? Do you really believe what you wrote, or are you just looking for an outlet for your irrational hatred? How could the club exist for so many years and grow into the largest in the county if they were embezzling money and providing poor training? Wouldn't everyone just leave in droves for one of the neighboring clubs? Why does it matter so much to you? Do you believe you or your kid were somehow wronged and now you are singularly focused on revenge?

This is a rather odd statement to make. Clearly they are not a fake soccer club. They do indeed exist, they have a 501(c)(3) corporate status that is easily verifiable, a recreation agreement on file with the county, affiliation with both FYSA and US Club Soccer, employ coaches with USSF and UEFA licenses, and provide soccer programming that has won state, regional, and national awards. What part of that makes you say they are fake?

I know Jill personally and I asked about this. She said they have investigations ongoing throughout the year. They look into most claims and see if they have merit. In this case, SCU has more than one claim. She obviously didn't go into any details. But she said that just about all teams have complaints.
