So football can be taught to new players in h/s, but one can’t be a soccer player unless you enroll in club at age 6?
Maybe we go at this all wrong?

If you are Peyton Manning, an NFL QB calling his own plays, it's more complex than any soccer player would have to deal with. If it is inside meat on a lower Div CMass HS football team, all you need to do is smack then control the guy across from you. Big, strong, and ornery are the primary requirements.

Gonk is young. Both teams okay. St. John's a good amount of kickball, Gonk a bit less of kickball. The road still goes through Marlboro.

I know early in the season. From what I can tell Tantasqua might actually be legit this year. They play Gonk Saturday and that should be the tell. Gonk should be right at the top of Midland A at the end of the season. Wachusett is certainly not even remotely close to the level they were at last year. Lost too much to graduation. Marlboro is the team to beat in Midland B/Central Mass and could easily go 18-0. Though they do play Brockton. That should be a great game.

This guy is pretty accurate. Thou right now I’d switch Tantasqua with Wachusett. North Middlesex I’d add to the sleeper section.

1. Marlborough
Strength - Best scorer in CMass , majority of starters back, quick passing, very good central mids, speed
Weakness - defense and GK, no depth, attitude, discipline, card prone

2. Wachusett
Strength - 6-7 starters returning, very deep bench, always a physical team, returning DAP players again, speed
Weakness - GK??, overly aggressive at times,

3. Tantasqua
Strength - return entire team, know they compete with players they have, good passing team
Weaknesss- depth, schedule/league, not physical

4. Algonquin
Strength - always over performs even in down years, always great defensively, GK,
Weakness - lost majority of starters, scoring threat?, to many athletes

5. St. John’s
Strength - return many players, very good JV last year with talent,
Weakness- new coach, no scorers, GK

Westborough, Shrewsbury are not good
