well its not helping weston they may send kids to the national camps but in the end they are not put on teams. check out 2 kendall kids added to the national team. confused on that one, it was a bad team for U15/16 and thats the best of the best. what about the other academies that did way better from every where.

There are also threads about his "alleged"graft with both Weston and Kendall.
REGION ODP scout most of the time is a waste of time, ODP players most of which wouldn't,t be there if not for the fact that majority of TALENT are playing DA. FACT....
Are there talented OPD players of course, but don't be fooled and thick all those players are TALENTED.

kendall does not have national team the point was that for some reasson weston gets many call ups for N camp but kendalll whoo are very poor get more kids put on the national team. maybe thats why we are not moving in the right direction. Of all the academies that are way better across the whole U.S. they pick kendall players??/ very confused.

The question isn't kendall or Weston, but why not other academies? and what is going on at these that they are the focus of choice by the regional scout? I see the reason for such has been previously stated so where is the USSDA management to fix this problem?

As long as teams are winning national championships, I do not see any reason to worry. There is plenty of talent in Florida that has been covered in the media as well as shown on the FYSA website. I am sure scouts at the highest levels are watching those films and those 13 year old stars today will be professional stars for the future.

I believe they were being facetious... but they don't realize that you have to catch players early to develop them...

                    3x3 is not real soccer.

The best soccer players can be found on any Spanish team with a Spanish coach. Look for a team that has Latino players or of Latin blood and you will find a team that can win a Championship be it 3x3 format, State or National.

Till they reach about 16, then they are done. Undersized, lack of speed, muscle, weight issues, etc.

That sounds to me like a bit of a racist comment. But we have last laugh for you and your kind pay more for our kids to play then we do ourselves. Way more.

                            Can you hear the laughing?

U.S. under-14 national team coach Brian Johnson brought 36 players into a camp in Bradenton, Florida. They will get their first action of the year on Wednesday when split squads face French cub Metz and Florida's Weston FC, which has two players, Sebastian Serpa and Jose Rivas, in camp. The U-14s include players based in Europe at Barcelona, Liverpool and Wolfsburg.

                              U.S. Roster:
GOALKEEPERS (4) : Osmar Chavero (Houston Dynamo), Nicolas Defreitas-Hansen (Weston FC), Joseph McNally (Baltimore Celtic), Alex Rando (New York Red Bulls).
DEFENDERS (13): Dominic De Almeida (PDA), Cameron Duke (Sporting Kansas City), Paul Elliott (Colorado Rapids), Nicholas Fernandez (Chicago Fire), Abraham Gonzalez (FC Golden State), Luke Hansen (Colorado Rush), John Hilton (Unattached), Cesar Rivera (Chivas USA), Leonardo Sepulveda (Empire SC), Sebastian Serpa (Weston FC), Travian Sousa (Ballistic United SC), Elias Thomas (Wolfsburg/GER), Joseph Zarra (Oakwood SC).
MIDFIELDERS (9): Efrain Alvarez (Chivas USA), Timothy Bielic (Sockers FC), Bryce Blevins (Liverpool FC/ENG), Taylor Booth (La Roca), Roberto Hategan (San Juan SC), Danny Jara (New York Red Bulls), Oliver Larraz (Colorado Rapids), David Palomino (Houston Dynamo), Matteo Ritaccio (BW Gottschee).
FORWARDS (10): Mario Anaya (Ballistic United SC.), Luis Arriaga (Santa Rosa), Eduardo Blancas (Napa FC), Konrad de la Fuente (Barcelona/SPA), Ulysses Llanez (Chivas USA), Eder Mosquera (BW Gottschee), Jose Rivas (Weston FC), Gabriel Segal (Bethesda-Olney), Grant Vernon (Lonestar SC), Kejiel Watt (New York Red Bulls).
Having come from the North... Too many parent coaches in FL destroying the kids developmental years. The clubs do this.
