if you have 20 kids on the team
and there is one coach and the coach has 1.5 to 1.75 hours to train?

How much time is allocated for personal training.

Well coaches don't develop each kid individuals. Then who does?

        Practice starts at 5pm
Kids warm up, what do you allocate? 15 Minutes
        Then Water break
you start practice at 515-520 you now have 1.35-1.6 hours of training.
Coach will lead the practice and do some technical skills training 15-20 minutes plus water break
        you have 1.20-1.5 hours.
with 4-5 water breaks of 2-3 minutes you have only about 1-1.1 hours to train.

That being said you have about 1 hour of training for 20 players.
In that hour you have to talk tactical and strategy.

Also I believe the coaches in the US are very soft and lenient. Players will stay, but because of parents are waiting to go they pressure the academy and coaches to leave on time and or early.

Seems we all have a different definition of development.

If we cannot define it the why do we play it.

          Lets just play?

The club and coaches plays on the parents ignorance. C'mon, parents can see if their kid is getting better. You don't need a coaching license to know that.

There are coaches who prey on the parents. They see "development" and they want $$$$$.

Then all values towards the sport disappear. What you just created a soccer development monster.

Then he forms a team. He wants to develop a team ;)

Then he gets enough parents and they create a club.

Now the ethics disappear. They do unethical things. Like steal players. They falsify visa forms to get the "best" coaches.

              Then they get fields.

              Prices go up.

Coaches loyalties disappear. The non-license coach has started the cycle.

u don't need an A/B/ C license to coach / train young ages u8s till u13s any good coach can coach/train with a lower license [ E/F, in the usa a coaching license is a pc of paper that says that you pay $ 5 grand for it, that does not make them a good coach, I have seen many good coaches with an E license developing young kids...

I have seen this happen. Some clubs are so money hungry they take a Rec coach who has a very good Rec team and bump them up to competitive at a young age. A handful of the players leave (the good players) after a year or two, leaving the mediocre players behind (including the coach’s kid). Those parents and kids that have been with him from the start don’t want to leave (cause they wouldn’t get picked at another club), feel they have to be “loyal” to the coach (since it is now a social thing), and so the coach gives those players starting roles and more playing time since the players / parents have been “loyal” to staying with the coach and justifying his team player retention and place at the club.

The coach’s “development” is just scrimmaging at practice. Spots that the tenured players don’t have skills to play get filled at tryouts by players more advanced then the “tenured” players. Over the season the new players and new parents see the gig and get frustrated for being on a team that can’t win because it truly is a Rec team to begin with that only became competitive years earlier because of some players that are no longer on the team.

So, recognizing the gig, the new families leave and a new group of suckers go to tryouts and have to learn the hard way later that their kid is on a team that was only “developed” by their presence (and prior coaches) like the non-tenured kids that had left the season before. And the cycle continues.

The coach says he “develops” players, but the truth is he is developing a situation to retain his team and keep his kid’s “development” under his control. Clubs need to recognize these coaches for what they are and weed them out.

                          Great Points

                          Development takes time.

Is like when mr. miagi trained daniel son.

                          Wax On Wax Off
                          Painting with the brush

or the modern version where he picks up the jacket and hangs it up.

                          that is technical developmemt

then you get to the game and you strategize how your going to fight

                          this is tactical developmemt

when your done you have developed daniel son to the karate kid.

                          you need them together

so its hard its hard work so clubs dont have time

they must win, you see soccer dad that has one boy is bat crazy. he wants results because he is paying money!!!

No one goes to disney tournament for the quality. The competition level has decline dramatically. Playing in Disney tournament are more for fun.

Realizing each kid has its own path and it should include college and good grades. Otherwise your days playing soccer are counted. The system is designed to study and play. Only playing will leave you behind and at the mercy of any DOC
