That would be a NO, and for a lowly EDP team like Ukies - check out social media, definitely trying to keep the girls connected and engaged.

Lowly is an understatement at least they can fake people out with all the “bells and whistles”.

You mean, like a sleeve patch and huge fees?

Spot on! If nothing else this crisis has revealed that FC Bucks is nothing more than a rec team with a patch. They offer zero value to their members. Sad, bigly.

Fees are no greater, or any different, than any other club, but you just don’t get the services you are supposed to be getting. FC Bucks are poorly run, needs change and can be fixed, but that “patch” is important and everything you want but will never get.

Fees are definitely similar to other clubs but it’s all the travel required by ECNL that makes the patch so expensive. People will argue but facts it costs close to $10,000 a year for ecnl with travel. When the club doesn’t provide the proper training and has weak teams you are traveling and getting your azz whipped, also the patch doesn’t mean much when the kids at bucks aren’t committing to D1 programs.

And TBH anyone that can pay for a patch at Bucks can have one -numerous openings on many teams, and there will be about 10 on the 2006 team. So if people are dumb enough to want that worthless patch they for sure can have one.

Keep deluding yourself that the patch at bucks means anything- go to PDA if you want a patch that is actually worth something.

It might cost $10,000 for the entire team to travel, but not per family. Play EDP or the USYS regional or national leagues and you pay more than an ECNL program and get very little in return.

counting the club fees, travel and hotels for games and/or tournaments, food for the games/tournaments plus the salaries of the parents traveling or having to take personal days the fees are @ 10,000

Yes could be $10000 per family all in. Probably not a huge difference with EDP/National League.

My daughter was so happy to get together with her team on Zoom last night. She really appreciated RF's kind words and words of encouragement during these difficult times.

You're joking right? In additional to at least three, 1- or 2- night weekends for league play (depending on where your team is) you have this https://www.eliteclubsnationalleague...-events-19-20/. Show me the list of mandatory tournaments for EDP that have flights involved. Just because you make stuff up and put it on the internet does not mean it is true.

                          Serious Question

If your kid is interested in a particular college, and reaches out to this college, is there someone at FC Bucks who will also advocate on your kid's behalf by contacting that college coach? Who is this person? Is it left up to the individual coaches? Is there any sort of Direct of College Recruiting or Development, or anyone who serves in this role?

Agree, but there is the problem for you. Those flights equal college coaches, all the college coaches in the country. So if you want to be seen, you should attend those events. EDP, sure, if your goal is to play at Holy Family or Jefferson, you don't need to play ECNL. And you will come back saying the ECNL teams in the area are not doing a good job with college recruiting, but just a few years ago both clubs were placing many kids to D-I and those kids are making an impact now. Sure, things are bad today, but with a DOC change, it's not a hard fix. Get ready of the people at FCB and the club goes right back to being a top club.

Agree mostly with this - BUT and it’s a big BUT - there are no signs of change zip, zero, zilch, so since nothing is changing at Bucks the D1 commits will not happen - therefore the patch has no value at bucks! Might as well go play EDP and save a lot of money bc your kid will end up at the same D2,D3 schools that the bucks kids do - but you will have saved yourself a lot of time and money.

Can you point to any signs of change at Bucks - because to me things are worse than ever with their pathetic lack of leadership and training during this crisis. It’s not just the 2006 team that has been given no direction - my kid plays on another bucks team and her team hasn’t done anything either.

Here's a newsflash .... something like 90% of kids attend schools within 4 hours drive from their home. Most kids on east coast do not need tx, az, or ca trips as they far more than likely to play on this side of the Mississippi River. Many college programs have reps at bigger, more local tournaments. Plenty of ways to be seen without going to Arizona, including attending their camps/clinics.
