Florida Elite has an administration and what is the phone number? FESA is serving how many children and families? What if parents could not contact their school or principal? High school principals make 90K plus to be able to be there full time with big responsibility. This is an important registration time and people want to speak with people 'in person'.

If a child is talented and works hard and writes their letters and has a coach who helps they are not at a disadvantage unless their team never plays showcases. ECNL doesn't promise anything to mediocre players. BTW my daughter has tons of opportunities outside club soccer but thanks for you genuine concern. I just try to be honest with families who may not even have an ECNL within driving distance. It's not the end of the word. And BTW you should have attended state cup At sweet 16 and seen all the division 1 coaches stupid enough to watch the pathetic non ECNL teams. Go back to your recreational feel good drugs now.
You are the one needing some feel good drugs if you did not try out for ecnl...lmao. Keep telling yourself it's ok.

Anyone know why 4 boys were pulled from the tryouts last Friday. They were included in the first half of the scrimmage and then the coaches spoke to them and after that they just hung out on the sidelines and goofed around or played in goal. All seemed good players - maybe they were already selected?

Meetings are good but marketing is key. Put free articles in The Creekline and other publications each month to tell about Florida Elite's new Academy and how to register for its various programs. Signs in the ground at schools, brochures in local stores - with permission -can get the word out about FESA and registration, camps, . .

A lot of the money offered is provided to you when you become junior/senior and that is of course if you have been performing well on the field. However, their are "perks" such as academic discounts, books money, waiver on fees, etc. For the vast majority (99.8%) of players, don't depend on soccer to get an education. Academics will get you a lot further than soccer. Many of the coaches we spoke to ask a lot about academics, florida pre-paid, bright futures and for the most part (within reason) quite often prefer the high gpa player (IMO). Some of the coaches will help in getting you academic scholarships throughout the season.

                      Dear friends,

At miraclefeet, we love soccer. It's truly the world's sport. We're very excited about the kick-off of the Women's World Cup in a few days, and we wish our friend and miraclefeet ambassador Ali Krieger best wishes as she plays for the U.S. Women's National Team!

Soccer players are not allowed to use their hands - but what if they couldn't use their feet? Imagine if soccer stars like Mia Hamm, who was born with clubfoot, couldn't play soccer. Because of clubfoot, a common birth defect, over a million children around the world may never have a chance to score a goal or even walk. But miraclefeet believes every child should have a chance to experience the thrill of making contact with the soccer ball and kicking it across the field.
