yes, an entire nysc 05 team went to CFC Chelsea. not ecnl 2, but will have ability to be seen by cfcu coaches to play way up latter. also, cfc can get them into jeff cup, pda tourneys. not perfect, but at least a path forward for some

less expensive/less travel than GAL also. If whoever will be their coach is any good I'd say it's a smart move. GAL is DOA.

If Westchester families believe that 1. United coaches are scouting branch teams at that age, or 2. Bethany is a worthwhile drive from NY, then they deserve to be bamboozled.

        Head to World Class folks.

They actually pulled that off last year. It was a team of all NY kids and some from Stamford etc. Gave them the "composite label" for this year but never really got to play because of this spring. Did ok on college placements though. World class only has so many spots.

Funny how CFC claimed college placements for all-state kids that never really suited up for the club.

This had to be the Nysc NPL team. No way all those girls are going to some shoreline thing. There was a handful of good players on that team.

CFC Chelsea is now CFC South. It has no relation to Chelsea Piers or Shoreline. The NYSC team is at CFC South.

Most sports parents are awful. Most adults working as youth sports professionals are even worse. I can't imagine how bad it must be to have to make a living in the kids sports world. That must be horrible.

I wouldn't agree - I'd say 1/4 to at most 1/3 are bad, most are perfectly fine. If it was reversed people wouldn't put up with it. Don't assume the noise here is representative of all
