    Girls 2004 state cup

This game has been very predictable lately with Rush and Sunrise battling for what seems like forever. Will this be the year that Rush finally brings home the hardware?

State cup, that’s still a thing? Sunrise upgraded to ECNL last year and Rush team just imploded (FKK ECNL primarily, 2nd to WFF GA in 2 years and one to FKK ECNL-R). Same coach cradle to grave is not recommended. It’s been consistent departures for years and mass exodus this year. Rush will be middle of the pack in the ECNL-R (primarily B teams) next year. It was fun while it lasted.

I think you are wrong we are so excited to finally make the team. Coach has advised us he thinks this team is better than last year!

They were a good team, but you can't ask players to stay in a sub-league like NPL / ECNL-R heading into your soph or junior year. If you're a legitimate Division 1 player, you simply have to be in ECNL or GA to get the exposure needed. The girls who left will get 80x the number of colleges looking at them. The rest should leave if that is their goal.

False. False. False. But go ahead and believe your lies. Celtic 02/03G has 5 girls committed to D1 teams yet Celtic only plays CDL and FSPL. Care to explain how that happened???

Celtic does a great job on getting some of their girls committed to D1 teams, mainly through an annual clinc but that Rush squad had a few legitimate Power 5 top D1 players, and there is no way they are going to get seen by top schools in NPL, CDL, or FSPL.

If they had several power 5 players shouldn't they have won something over the past gazillion years their amazing coach had control of the team?

Goodness you are so ignorant. You are actually relying on Siccrr to get your kid college education. Have you read the news lately? Good luck.

My girl has 6 offers, some full rides with a mix of athletic and academic, and some partial. If your daughter is good enough, she can rely on soccer to get an education. Each D1 team has 14 full scholarships. You have to earn your portion.

Nah! All that has change. Look into their athletic programs, all cancelled for this fall and goodness know until when. And if your daughter is a decent player then more power to you. Is just that the league they play during their high school years will be so irrelevant months after they join college. So playing ECNL will give you great memories. Gal nobody knows, at least Weston has a mixture of the few former GDA players that are hopeful and decided to stay and a little bit of everything else around. I would not call gal it D1 exposure at this point.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The league that they play in means EVERYTHING in terms of what school they get offers from. I have spoken directly to college coaches about the GA, and they view it as identical to the DA, and their recruiting plans for the league are the same. You have to remember that most Power 5 kids came from the DA, and 90% of those clubs are in the GA.

Finally, there hasn't been a single D1 women's soccer program cancelled this season. If you have no clue what you're talking about, it might be a good idea to keep your thoughts to yourself.
