Sounds like NEFC is making it their personal mission to make sure there are enough teams for NEP. But I've also heard these teams will remain in CCL, so who knows.

NEFC has MLS, ECNL, DPL, NEP and GAL.

Making the partnership by clubs like Hammer FC is smart. Hammer FC( GPS) have some good boys teams. HG is a great guy,played pro , has his B license and was board member with JB from Legacy .Back in the day he had some really good teams that were able to feed the Revs. Valeo and Hammer pulled kids from the same area. Valeo went the NEP and Hammer stayed with Maple.

NEFC should've treated the region better - They don''t feel there is any talent south of Mendon...regulating the region to 4th place status when some of their teams were giving their DA teams fits. They never truly accepted the Black Watch group post buyout. No wonder why they left, yes they took a short term hit with players leaving to go DA/ECNL or other clubs but the coaching staff will accumulate and coach up the regions talent and in a couple years or so will have the stronger teams in the region again. Say what you will but they have a couple of the top coaches in the region, the talent will find them.

It was not meant to imply any level of quality. On girls side the old NPL players will be in DPL less those deciding to travel for GA / ECNL teams. The remaining clubs and second, third, fourth teams of GA / ECNL / DLO will be in NEP. The point is plenty of teams left to fill out NEP. What will it look like? Time will tell. Time will tell on EDP experiment as well. Going in most feel EDP is on similar plane as EDP. Common sense would suggest EDP / NEP should be as one but unfortunately money and egos got in the way of what is best for the kids.

NEP is not going to partner with EDP. SC walked out on NEP and is now building a new platform with EDP. With the collapse of most US Club leagues in the Northeast it’s only a matter of time before EDP runs MA.

Most.likely the surf coaches will get their feel good on by sandbagging superliga. Because that is what the surf coaches.do. complete low lifes.
