    Recruits changing their mind

Hearing that the biggest Oregon recruit on the girls side jumped from one Pac 12 school to another. Covid related? Or something else? Anyone else changing their mind at this late date?

Is this really a surprise, if true?

As long as the NLI hasn’t been signed then no problem.

Well, this is pretty subjective. Do tell us from which school to which school. Also, the biggest recruit on the girls side, IMHO, signed a NLI already. How does it work in that case?

You may have an opinion on the biggest recruit on the girls side. The post refers to the opinion Gatorade had about the biggest recruit on the girls side. And girls are let out of NLI's at times. If a player wants to be closer to home during a pandemic it was be exceptionally sh**ty of a college coach to deny that request.

If it's UW you are referring to, I always found it odd that a player committed to a school who's head coach was on the way out, and a replacement had yet to be named.

Closer? You mean two hours away vs three hours away?

This could be a good thing for UO. The Ducks lacked an attack last year. Some good midfield players but no real speed and quality up top.

Does seem odd to flip at this hour.

They probably won’t have a season until there is a vaccine so maybe she just wanted to be near friends.

A real vaccine is still years away. A half baked partial placebo is probably coming late this year. By then there could be another virus. Then there is regular flu season infection millions and millions of people. We haven't found a way to stop that. What do we do then?

Every person should get to chose their own risk level. Like climbing Mt Everest or sky diving. It certainly could be dangerous to some people, but without personal choice what have we become?

Does anyone know why the de-commitment? I suspect they will score a lot more goals now.

Exciting to get some juicy gossip. It was getting slow around here since 2001 and 2002 girls graduated.
