True but without her goals Cfc would be 0-3 and driving home right now. Plenty of room on those coattails and enjoy it before she heads to ecnl.
Actually, 1-3 and and done like the others. Course without the cfc defense, they'd be 0-3 & driving home even if they had their star.

No team should ever travel to represent their state unless they are favored to make at least the semifinals. All teams who can't even win OYSA State Cup should disband immediately. If the State Cup winning teams are so dismal, the rest of the teams must be absolutely horrid. Everyone knows Oregon. girls soccer is well below many other states. That's why we get excited when our teams do half way decent vs good CA teams. So what? These are young girls playing a sport they love. Try to change it for the better or don't have your kids participate.
She's far from the only bright spot in Oregon. But she's the only bright spot left not doing ecnl...for now.

Yes she was. She's scored 4 of the 6 so far

Pretty much sums it up. Time to put your DD in some other activity

The Blues video didn't exactly make the CFC defense look very good

She's playing ECNL this year. Guess all the Timbers bright spots are gone.

The USWNT's only bright spots are their top goal scorers. Rest may as well go home. No one is needed on a soccer team but the top goal scorers...

Eugene has some bright spots across the ages. Take Athletica '99 for example. Probably Bend too. Maybe even Medford. Too far to drive for ECNL. Most of the best will go ECNL though. And some Thorns Academy. From U14 and up, the old league will be severely watered down. Too bad Oregon can only really field one statewide elite team though, not three. OYSA will be great the majority of players since most players aren't elite anyway.

Athletica '99 is decent I will grant you, but that is an amalgamation of some 00's that are pretty talented to make that work. There is one age group worth a squat in bend. But Medford? What age group? The 00's got lucky with some goals / wins to win fall league. Eastside was clearly the team to beat. (even they got smacked by FCSC, which in turn was smacked by FCP ECNL.) Maybe Medford has some age groups that are good I don't know about? Even Athletica went 1-2 at FWRL.

What we will see is similar to what happened to Eastside '00. Broke apart after U14, some trying out for the Thorns playing up (my dd), some to ECNL, a few will scramble other clubs teams and most just play H.S. Don't worry, this has been going on for a couple of decades state wide before ECNL or the Thorns. Now there are better options for the better players.

I just watched that and had to rewind to catch the Oregon team at the end. It only showed 25 seconds or so and it was all highlights of goals. Its a video produced by the cal team to show their goals.

                          .
A teams Winning percentage with only a 3 game sample is hardly enough of sample to make any conclusions be it 0% or 100%.

I'm 100% the Oregon Clubs that entered the ECNL friendlies over 30 games this last year sucked 100% of the time even when they got a W vs Idaho and Utah sisters of the poor.

Which means they were a Washington team that won a us club end of year jamobree.

                            Congrats!

You are mistaking this with the THUSC Cup.

Which sounds a lot better then going 0 - 3 while losing to a rec. team from MT in FWRL.

                                Go Westside!
