What club actually cares about development

Honest question. Is there any club/coach in the state that actually cares about player development, or are they all just about the bottom line?

Look for the coaches that lose all the time. They are “developing” players. Learning to lose with grace is an important aspect of Sports. I mean you couldn’t possibly win and develop players. The two are mutually exclusive. Duh.

What's so ridiculous? Just about every ECNL player gets scholarships ranging from 10% to a full ride.

No, you'll only get 10-20% if you apply to a B+ school. If you're stretching you'll likely get little to nothing (wait listed? Full boat less any FA you get). If you overshoot the academic target then you'll get more, maybe even a full ride, but you may be sacrificing academic fit for money. That said academic $ is what you want - it stays with you all 4 years as long as you keep your grades up
