Great, you have been so fortunate at FSA to have the likes of AD, ML, and now KK coach your daughter. They are going to be superstars that get huge scholarships and pro contracts. You might as well let they lay on the couch, eat donuts, and play FIFA '07 on SEGA .... they will learn more that way.

Considering OW gets strong Ulittle players anyway, and considering those players are invested in the sport and are not daisy pickers, it's interesting to see that OW fails to develop its players with the same success as the clubs it aggregates players from.
As a father who had three kids that went through premier soccer and now all play in college, a) the results at this age are irrelevant. There is no correlation to the good teams at this age and how that age group will do in the future at the Club level once the kids hit puberty and beyond, b) there is turnover at every club from the young ages to when the play actually matters for college recruiting - kids lose interest, grow or don’t grow, focus on another sport etc. c) parents should really focus on how their individual kid’s skills are developing and where their kid is playing on the field- having the biggest kid and fastest kid playing in the back or as a kick and run forward at the young ages is not going to help develop them for the future.they will get moved out of a club or moved down once everyone else catches up athletically If their skills are not technical enough. All the focus should be on the kids touch , field vision , understanding of the game (soccer iq) and attacking ability (one v one ability to take chances and take people on).

The results at this age may make great memories and bragging rights for parents, but if they lose sight of the above their best soccer days will be at u11 and u12.

All the clubs experience tremendous roster turn from u11 to u16.

Ahhh, you are missing a couple of key points.
                  1) OW collects some of the strongers Ulittle players.
                  2) These players are invested in soccer, as are their families.

                  So if

                  3) OW has good and strong development.

                  then

                  4) OW wouldn't churn, because it had invested players, who were athletes and good players, and provided them the best training.

                  However

                  5) By U14, OW has dumped, cut, or otherwise let go 75% of its own players for players developed elsewhere.

So much for development at OW. If you can't develop the best players, what chance do the rest have?

What is the definition of a "strong" u little player? What background do you have to accurately make this type of assessment?

A u little "invested" in soccer? What does this mean? Does this mean he/she "likes" it? Not sure how many sub 12 yr olds are "invested" in soccer?

Your #4, "........who were athletes and good players......" again labels the players. How can you say they are athletes? Is there some sort of database that tracks and rates the athletic ability of the u little players in CT?

Where are you pulling this "data" from? Wait, I think I know the answer to that one.

Your examples show lack of ability to make even the weakest argument. Hope you're not a lawyer.

My post about what to focus on above had nothing to do with oakwood. It was more to do about not getting crazy over u11 and u12 scores and teams. No reflection on any club.
