And just a point on ECNL as a pathway. For 2017, 1,671 ECNL players in class of 2017--> 1,391 players moving on to play in college--> 1,058 playing division 1

      Not bad odds....

Most of those not playing D1 are from FSA, CFC and FCBoston...

3,000 players in 2017 between those clubs? amazing

One thing I'm pretty confident, your kid isn't playing D1 anytime. Otherwise, why the hate?

CFC ecnl does a good job placing D1 players.

you are way off on CFC ecnl. They might not place a lot of players in the Big 10, Big 12, ACC, etc, but they do place a lot D1. They do have kids playing in the previously mentioned leagues, just not many.

'Cuzz you pop on here to tout the ECNL stats, then ask "why the hate?"

You the type of guy that holds your finger right next to someone's face and go "I'm not touching you", then wonder why you get popped, right?

if you conclude your club soccer career playing forOakwood, CFC, or FSA, the chances of you playing hire college soccer are probably 90%. If you play for any other club in Connecticut that percentage goes down.

All of CFC or FSA? HA! If you play for CFC, your chance of playing college soccer is probably about 10-20%. If you play for FSA, you likely have a 20-25% chance, and if you play for OW, likely about 80-90%. If you play for CFCU, then your chance is likely 90+%. If you play for FSA ECNL, your chance is likely about 75-80%.
