Sure your kid can play in the under 40 league after he gets off the high school bench.
Not the poster you made this comment to.

You are the one that seems to be stuck in some kind of dream. I have seen many top teams playing in NPL and they are only slightly better than some town league teams I see playing in BAYS.

It's sad really, that you can get so caught up in something that the truth becomes distorted in your mind.

The amusing part of this discussion is all you have to do is look at the decline of the BC women's soccer program to see the impact the ECNL has had thus far. They have recruited almost exclusively from the ECNL and they are going backwards because of that.

What? By that logic (if you can call it that) then most D1 programs would all be losing their games. BC is going backwards because of poor coaching and recruiting. The topic has been beaten to death on the Women's D1 thread.

all their recruits come out of the ECNL so it has to shoulder some of the blame

Not a lot of scholarship money on the boy's side. If a boy was any good they would be in the DA. Anyone going down the boy's ECNL path will drop a boatload on travel and still be left with the fact that exposure will not make up for a lack of talent.

Your logic is inconsistent. If the boys ECNL is only full of talentless kids, coaches will quickly figure it out, and there will be no exposure.

And if there is exposure, it means there's talent. Coaches don't want to waste their time.

lMAO. DA is horrible in MA. Very little talent and can't win games. No exposure for them when they never make playoffs and when they go off to tournament at end of year they are in ****tiest bracket with nobody watching but 2 year colleges.

Plenty of talent outside of DA and there's plenty of non talent inside of DA. Unless you're at a free-to-play DA club you're still dropping serious coin for fees and travel.

'LMAO'....what a phrase....it usually comes from someone who is about to spout negativity without any real intelligent substrate to back up ignorant statements.

given that all the DA teams (Bolts and Revs) are doing well to very well with the exception of one age group then how do you come up with 'DA is horrible in MA'?

The only way you can claim your statement to be intelligent is if you felt that the entire DA system was useless. Otherwise having a .500 or better record cannot be construed as 'horrible'....given that the U17 teams are not very good....compared to the rest of the DA world.
