The action moved to 11v11 little rat, but you are fine to keep beating tier two team in 9v9, you just want those little points, no?

Is this true

Perhaps - there should be two or three tournaments a year in So. Florida - where super teams are assembled and play each other. At first blush, that idea sounds ridiculous - but it may produce an opportunity for talented players to play with other equally, or better, players from farther away. While many clubs approach their money-generating clubs with a protectionist attitude, that approach would probably benefit many.
And indeed, if ISA is as you just said a team with lots of guest players, then perhaps better games will be played - benefiting not only players whose primary club do not approach games and tournaments with the same approach as teams like ISA (again, assuming that what you say is true about them) but it will also benefit teams like ISA as they will be able to play more closely matched teams. It can help improve the level of play.
There are clubs in league play with teams in the same divisions locally - who consistently share players back and forth between their teams, even when in the same division. I understand that there are restrictions about playing league games with two club teams on the same day but it seems that some teams / clubs have taken too great of an advantage of borrowing players from their other teams within the same club. That constant swapping of players between them — seems to be inconsistent with the spirit of league and divisional play, especially with playoffs on the line for u12 and up.
As for ISA ‘07 - can anyone guarantee the accuracy of the statement quoted at the top of my post? Does ISA really use lots of guest players in tournaments like Weston, for example?

Weston ‘07 DA - Not so Fast...

And if ISA played with a lot of guest players, then it really is not much different than a specially assembled and selected DA team - not everyone wants to make that 60 minute plus trip from Palm Beach area to Weston to play DA — not everyone can be as motivated as the JE’s of the world.
They should play each other - again, only assuming that the same ISA roster shows up to play that game.

Where do the guest players come from

We all know that La Academia would ditch its loyal, fee paying players in favor of guest players not from anywhere in this region to play tournaments that La Academia deemed to be important to win for marketing and profit generating purposes - and those loyal, fee paying players would not travel to even play on a second team to those tournaments.
Is this the same for ISA?

If they are using guest players, so what? Seems to be the way things are done at U12 these days. I see tampa kids playing for Levante every tournament and those same Levante kids playing for that tampa team every tournament. So if ISA brings in their guests to play against other guests, seems only fair to me. You don't get to be in the top 5 in gotsoccer points playing with only kids in your own club.

At a minimum, it would be a good game - but the players on that ISA team showed the same level of skill I’ve seen with the ‘07 DA - the same level of speed, movement off the ball and more.

07 Da Beats them 5-0, thats a soccer team, not a super rec team kicking dirt all over the place while coach dances around like a monkey
