You are clearly overemphasizing the patch. Sunrise and Rush both travel extensively to play the best competition possible. They both destroy the teams they are allowed to play in Florida and either would play any ECNL teams if they would just allow it. Most of the Florida ECNL teams are at the bottom of the barrel. Do you think college coaches are lining up to watch teams that are in last place regardless of the platform?

As a parent, you have to put your child where they are going to develop to their full potential and these two clubs are clearly doing that. Sunrise's college commitments over the last 5 years put everyone to shame and we are very happy here. (Brown, Yale, Columbia, UCF, LSU, USC, Villanova, Cornell, Mizzou) Rush has adopted a similar model and it sounds like the 04s are getting lots of attention. They have been neck and neck with us in our last two meetings.

Keep your patch. Keep your platform. We'll take better opportunities for our kids.

By the way...I thought both TBU and OCYS had commitment lists LAST year that were very comparable to Sunrise.

cant speak for sunrise but can for Rush. they do absolutely nothing for college recruitment. nothing... they will try and take credit if it happens. that is why we left. and you are a fool to think that just by "traveling" you are going to get college attention. gda and ecnl will always get more attention from colleges at their events than pretty much any other event

Reputable and verifiable sources have stated that 2019 is the last year that Orlando City will exist. I can't say that I'm surprised. This has been coming for a long time.

OCYS website is listing ECNL tryouts for May 2019 so it looks like they will at least still be playing into the fall. Were you stating that 2018-19 would be the last year or 19-20?
