Did they revoke Hillary’s security clearance until they figured it out? There must be a reason why they don’t, but I’m sure there is protocol for how they handle situations like this. Yesterday’s doc dump shows how hard the FBI worked to keep her viable - normal person would have waited in jail for the investigation to conclude- Clinton got to decide what docs to produce and run for POTUS

Try reading the FBI link in the original post. Source documents are always best. Of course then you can't just parrot some social media libs talking points. The whole point is she was guilty but comey didn't charge her stating intent. Congress doesn't charge people or else trump would be charged with something by now. If they are guilty then they should be punished. HRC was guilty but the FBI said intent mattered. HRC is guilty, intent didn't matter for the Naval Seamen and it shouldn't matter for HRC. Why you want one set of rules for your politicians and another for everyone else is because you are a slave and can't think for yourself.

Part of HRC's claim was that at the time she was following an old protocol which was revised as technology changed. Even the FBI agreed with that and as was stated they didn't deem there was intent. However now, given all the attention on her case - by the right no less - you can't honestly claim the Kushner's "didn't know." Even if they didn't specifics they have entire agencies and staff to advise them on these things. They did it because they think their sh*t doesn't stink; that happens when you've never been told "no" your entire life. It was intentional, not accidental.

So, who besides me finds it amusing how both sides here are claiming the other side gets special treatment from the FBI and the DOJ?

So, who besides me finds it amusing that both side claim violations of the law by the other side but their side if, of course, totally innocent or simply misunderstood?

So, why do the conservative posters here continue to declare that every Democrat is a socialistic baby killer who embraces open borders and wants us deluged by illegal immigration? Does anyone actually believe that to be true?

So, why do the liberal posters here continue to see criminal activity in every statement or action taken by the President or his associates/staff/cabinet and why do they think every Republican is a racist gender smearing idiot?

Are they both wrong or are they both right or are they just spouting political rhetoric with no real desire to actually speak to issues with substance and with an earnest desire to actually make things better?

How come we don't really see what's happening in this nation? Actually, the dossier information was a sliver of the information that was used to get the FISA warrant. The warrant request revealed that the information was supplied by a political rival. Page was under FBI's watch for years for a reason and had actually been interviewed by the FBI on several occasions before he joined the Trump campaign. Four separate Republican appointed judges approved and then re-approved the surveillance. If there was anything illegal about the manner in which they obtained the warrant, then all information gathered on account of the warrant would be inadmissible - fruit of the poisonous tree. The fact that it is admissible tells me that it was perfectly appropriate and legal to supply that information.

And stop with this nonsense about spying on the Trump campaign. Page was no longer part of the Trump campaign when the warrant was sought and issued. One can't spy on the Trump campaign when the target of the FISA warrant was no longer part of the Trump campaign and thus not acting in any capacity on behalf of the Trump campaign when he was surveiled.

So no, I have absolutely no problem with the FBI relying on information in the dossier that actually corroborated information that the FBI had gathered even before they received the dossier.

Andy McCabe (former deputy director of the FBI) testified to Congress that without the dossier they would not have been able to secure a FISA warrant.

Now shortly after the Nunes memo came out, the Dems led by Schiff produced their own memo saying where the Nunes memo was wrong, etc.

They attempt to counter every point in the Nunes memo except curiously the point regarding Andy McCabe. Interesting right? Every other point in the Nunes memo, the Schiff memo counters or has an explanation to, except the McCabe statement.

Why didn't they refute the point about McCabe? Because his testimony is recorded and in fact he did say without the dossier they would not have been able to get a FISA warrant.
