    PV Coaches

Why was there such a drastic change of staff last Season all 4 coaches that left were doing a good job, AC u13 boys and KC u12 girls , SS u12 boys and SW u11 girls ??. It makes no sense they are all decent coaches. Most parents at PV would agree on this.

This DOC has no clue about being a DOC. He spends little time with other teams and only ever worked with the 14s. His clouded judgement of other coaches is evident. He believes he is God. He has is own little team of u10s. He did say he would coach the 13s, did he keep his word ?. Great example of a dedicated DOC hmmmmmm. Biggest hypocrite ever. The guy needs to stick to a huntin and a fishin. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Ponte Vedra has so many kids that no longer play there. x is the main reason.

what are the DOC's qualifications? Does he even have a license? I cannot find any info on him or any of the other coaches on the PV website.

I don't know any of the players here but a DOC with a D license is really bad.

"D" LICENSE!!!!! and he's a DOC!!!!! LOL - LOL - LOL - LOL. What a joke. That explains the fall.

His U10 team is very average and he doesnt coach it. He was going to coach the U13G but that would take time away from his busy fishing schedule. He only worked with the U14 because they were already successful. I guarantee this, now that they lost 5 girls he wont be coaching that team either. It would make him look bad in soccer circles. Now he will switch to the U17G which is his last team with a shot at anything and when that's done - he's done.

                Enough is enough

The x DOC is a cancer to the club. Several talented coaches and exceptional kids have left this year and x blames everyone else. Its never his fault. This guy even butts heads with the board members. Get rid of this man and watch the talent return.

JYS had an "A" license coach for years until a couple of years ago and none of the teams at the club during that time, girls or boys, had the ability to play soccer other than in a primitive kick and run style and they certainly never achieved any success. The new DOC there has had to do a ton of fixing the problems he inherited because of the "A" coach's programs. The license isn't everything and in many cases it is a smoke screen that covers up inabilities.

ok, granted, having an A license doesn't make you a great coach.
but a DOC is supposed to be a professional position. The D license is NOT for professionals.

Two things are for sure: 1. Having an A License does not make you a great coach 2. By not having an A license or Premier Diploma, you should never be considered a professional or be considered for a DOC job.... I personally have taken the A within the last three years and can tell you that whoever received an A within the last three years, knows their stuff. They used to hand it out like candy 10 years ago, but it very tough to acheive now. I cannot speak for the personality or administrative skills of the A License or Premier Diploma holder which often is professional coaches downfall. I can however tell you that I am not from Jacksonville, but have seen this guy in action. He does not have a clue. By the way folks, recruiting all the top talent in the area does not make you a good coach. Not too many coaches in Florida have shown they can win by developong the talent in their back yard. There have been a few, but when you find them... hold onton them.

All of the u12 girls team were local. The coach worked well with what he had. Unfortunately the club had other ideas. Will this team be any good this season ?

Why would only 6 return. They were a good team and played for each other ?. They beat most teams they played I know that.

Funny! Not to mention totally false. Oh and btw, JYS had 2500 plus players when Mr. "A-Diploma" was at the club. Now that Mr "Green Card" is there, the number of players is under 1000. Keep "fixing" the problems and there wont be a club anymore
