Weak excuse. All great young players come a long way in a short time.
Read “he can’t play at the EPL level”
Good for him making it to the top, but he doesn’t belong there.

    All about the jerseys

It’s all about the journey, but Chelsea is a graveyard for borderline players.
Endless list of former great players going there to disappear...

Not ALL about the jerseys, but it's a factor. His $70m fee was a factor of the marketability, not his playing ability.

He'll be fine in the EPL. He is young and there is an adjustment period. The Bundesliga, while one of the premier leagues in the world, isn't as fast-paced or physical as the EPL. Chelsea also has the benefit of another young up-and-comer in the midfield. It's not a bad thing Pulisic has to earn his starting 11.

If it turns out he isn't ready for the EPL, there are other leagues he can play in: Heck, I would say Barcalona given they couldn't get Neymar from PSG. Not that Pulisic is the equal of Neymar currently, but I think they both excel at being creative wingers/attacking mids and Pulisic would be a heck of alot cheaper.
