What was the question?
Why do you believe they should be #1 even though they have had no real test?

SF 49ers are undefeated and beat better teams, but get less respect. I just go by common opponents and how each faired to get a better idea. But it won’t matter until playoffs anyway.
You just want to try to get 2 home games and not travel.

So if Thayer beats BBN - they are #1 clearly
If BBN loses - not even top 5 so don't complain - it is in your hands
If Porters beats Choate - in running for #2 - depending on Andover/Nobles
If Porters loses - then you failed your "first test" and you are in 4 -7 range
If Choate beats Porters - looking at #2 to #3 or so
If Andover beats Noble - clear #2
If Andover loses to Nobles - looking at #2-#5
Nobles beats Andover and you are in the #3 - #5 range
So in conclusion....PLEASE don't lose a game and then complain that you should be higher in the rankings!! It is in each team's control.
Good Luck!!

Porters wins out, they are #1. It doesn’t matter 1 or 2 because you just want home for two.
If Porters beats Hotchkiss tomorrow and are the Founders League champs, then the Choate game really doesn’t matter in seeding because they’d still be #2. No way Choate jumps even in a head to head when you compare common opponents.
Unless your a board member voting and your mind is already made.
It’ll be a fun playoffs regardless because there are quite a few teams that always make the playoffs looking from the outside.
Good luck to all!

So if they lose to Choate you really think they are going to be #2?
Wouldn't Choate have an argument they beat you head to head and thus #2?
Wouldn't Andover have an argument that they tied Choate and you lost to them for #2
I don't understand your reasons.

Andover ? Not sure of their record. If it’s close, sure they may take #2.

Porters is 13-0-1
You can say all the bull of “first test” garbage. They can only play who’s on the schedule.

Have your brains exploded yet? Tiger don't go away mad, Tiger just go away. Will be a winner and a loser. Still does not explain YOUR choice. Get over it already.

So I just want to get this right...
If Choate wins against Porters..you feel Porters is better??
Seems like great logic.

Is Loomis better than Choate because they beat them one day? Porters rocked 5-0
Is Westminster = to Choate because they tied? Porters rocked 6-0
So yes, it’s pretty simple logic.
