Great idea to get US Soccer involved with the girls since they have done such a poor job with the mens side. It will lower the quality to even things out a bit.

The Girls da program is the perfect vehicle to hide the girls away. Nobody will ever watch them play so nobody will know how good or bad they are until the USWNT crashes out in the World Cup qualifiers against some piddly country.

Rumor has it the girls DA in oregon and SW Washington will expand and add Eastside Timbers, PCU, Pacific and Clackamas. So rather than getting smaller they will be adding more teams. If this is true it will be a radical change and fun for all the kids.

That is the price you have to pay for being elite. Join every Olympian and Olympian want to be. Just another option in life if you are good enough and driven to succeed. What about those that are kicking themselves for not taking that chance when they were good enough. Now they will never know if they could have been great.

US soccer doesn't do a very good job.
