Most colleges will cut non revenue producing sports by 2021.

D3 first to go. No more sports. watch and see

I agree "some" will go that route but definitely not all. Some will go with a market position of "education only, better price value. " But it will have to be a noticeably better value. I'm not sure just cutting sports @ D3 will get them there.

They won't cut nonrevenue sports across the board because colleges either 1) use sports as a way to bring in students or 2) they are wealthy enough to carry the athletic dept.

basically all you would have is about 40 football teams and 20 mens basketball teams and thats it

                        nothing to do with titleIX-
we are talking revenue sports- no womens teams make revenue and most mens teams dont either
so according to the statement- they would all be cut

                          Please stop with the drama.

Connecticut is at top of best infection rates in country with a low .26 percent. Right, UNDER 1 percent. That means right now its safer around here than in flu season. So relax the sky is not falling. If it starts to, one call ends the season and the schools go to zoom again.

They been playing all summer together and will be in class together. Too bad the Leftist prep school presidents caved in to the lawyers and anti-trumpers among them and screwed all the prep kids..

                          At least try.

They won't be class together - most HS are going hybrid. Ours is going by alphabet so my kids won't see their friends M-Z ever in school. Just heard there will be no fans or parents allowed at games. That sucks for everyone, even for students too. They really need some normalcy, which includes going to watch friends play sports.

And that all assumes case numbers stay low. If they start to creep up it could all get shut down.
