He won't accept an Assistant coach position, and focusing entirely on club ball (CFC) will not pay the mortgage. Are there coaching vacancies in CT? Not likely until after the 2021....
This time of year is tough to find a spot - only unexpected vacancies - but post season there's lots of movement. He has a championship on his resume and will have no issues finding a job, but the area is limited

He doesn’t need to find a spot right now, UB hasn’t eliminated soccer yet. He’ll land somewhere before the 2021 season. The area isn’t really that limited, plenty of options for him to explore. He’ll be near the top of the list for most area schools .

No kidding fall sports is cancelled, but he still had a job and gets paid. Soccer hasn’t been eliminated and the school isn’t “gone” yet, both of those statements are false, it will still exist next year as well, then it’s done after that as we know it. MN has time to find his next HC position is the point.

Maybe, maybe not. They laid off staff in March because of Covid.

The terms of his contract would also come into play as it relates to Covid and what's going on with the school. As for the following year? The future of sports at the soon to be defunct school are officially still TBD but it's unlikely the schools taking over the campus would want to continue. They'll have enough costs associated with ramping up. Everyone will want to transfer out so they can finish with a school that will be playing and in existence

Central High School girls program is probably great opportunity for MN. He gets access to a new turf field in Bridgeport, the field has lights, and he can run his below average teams there, it's like nothing changes.
