really? why then do Kozys teams all have UST as part of the team name? you can go back and check all the NYCSL and LIJ season standings and see quite a few UST teams playing under the dix hills banner. Your argument is not as watertight as you think. But YOU HATE KOZY so whats the difference right?

Kozy got hired as the DoC of DHSC. As part of the job, he made a deal with DHSC that UST would be the exclusive training organization of DHSC. As such, they did put UST on the team names as well as having UST (away) jerseys for the teams. But they were still all DHSC teams.

And whether you think that means something or not, that does not change the fact that Kozy had parents pay next years UST training fees under the guise that the teams would continue playing for DHSC, even instructing the parents to register with DHSC. It was only after UST got paid did he then inform the parents that they were switching to Surf and for them to demand refunds from DHSC. That's bait and switch, aka fraud. If Kozy had been upfront with his intention on leaving and asked the parents to join him before taking their money we would not be having this conversation.

The difference is if the team is going to be a surf team but you take the money from people saying it will be a dix hills team...that is fraud.

The difference is if the team is going to be a surf team but you take the money from people saying it will be a dix hills team...that is fraud.

Just give back the money to the families that do not want to go to surf. Easy solution.

The parents were expecting their kids to be playing on dix hills teams and to receive training on dix hills fields by the exclusive training company of the dix hills soccer club. Replacing dix hills with surf after the fact is fraud.
