"New York Surf is cancelling their affiliation with Kozy & UST effective immediately. We fully support the Dix Hills Soccer Club and all town soccer clubs on Long Island. NY Surf would never knowingly do anything to destroy a town soccer club. We look forward to working with, and helping Dix Hills SC in the future."

I guess either it wasn't on the up and up and that's why Surf cut ties OR Surf didn't want the bad press for causing the collapse of a local club. Not sure where that leaves it though, I'm sure DHSC doesn't want anything to do with the guy now- damage may already be done.

That's really not the point.

The point was that Kozy was hired by DHSC to be their Director of Coaching. It is highly unethical for him to leverage that position to take all those teams and players to another club.

Whats worse is that the parents were instructed to pay the training fees with the understanding that UST was staying as the exclusive training organization for DHSC. And the parents were at first instructed to sign up and pay the DHSC registration fees. It was only after Kozy got his training money from the parents that he told everyone that he was moving to Surf and if they wanted the training that they paid for that they had to follow him there. That is fraud.

really? why then do Kozys teams all have UST as part of the team name? you can go back and check all the NYCSL and LIJ season standings and see quite a few UST teams playing under the dix hills banner. Your argument is not as watertight as you think. But YOU HATE KOZY so whats the difference right?
