Anyway talking soccer is definitely entertaining like the national enquirer but very little if any real talk about the sport

GDA was formed and regulated by US soccer. GAL was form by a bunch of frustrated and freaked out DOCs that saw their “dream” flying away, it is regulated by nothing. Hence another regular league yet to start. Research and ask questions. If this GAL thing seems fishy is because it is. Take your kid and leave, if she’s good she’ll be taken by any other club.

Just got offered a spot on the Composite team so need to decide between DPL and the Composite ECNL

That should not even be a debate. The exposure you will get by playing in ECNL brackets at showcases and opportunities with ECNL team outweigh anything DPL has to offer. DPL will be comparable to ECNL-R not to ECNL in the composite division.
Just look a the level Pinecrest has played (at tournaments, etc) and compare to the levels that the Prime 2nd team (which was Sunrise top team) competed over the last few years and there is no comparison.
Do what is best for your daughter but the two options are not really comparable.

Pinecrest is not a good option.
Prime:
Russ M is the ECNL Composite coach, holds a D license and probably a drivers license.
Pinecrest:
MF Monroe holds a B license, Former USWNT player, UCLA standout, Current US Youth U15 NT Assistant Coach, College coach experience, there really isn't a comparison.
Stop eating up the Prime BS and lies. Composite team is not an ECNL team, they do not play ECNL showcases learn the facts. Composite team is going to showcases just like everyone else for the exposure. The league is irrelevant, the coach and someone who can vouch for you is the most important aspect here.
