The little weasel was at Griffin Park handing out flyers for his new club. Luckily one of the board members was present and escorted him off the field.
Typical CA plays the old “we won’t interfere with travel organizations” card then immediately goes and recruits at a town travel event.

Guys a hypocrite and the worst coach around!

      He has not changed.

He asked my kid to come to his tryouts, so we could make numbers look better and quality of play look better for possible players. Families who were there, be careful of what your perception was at the tryout, I know a few academy players who were asked to go to make numbers up.

Everyone certainly is very concerned about what CA is doing. Interesting.

            "Concerned"? No.

Laughing? Absolutely. Seems to be the landing spot for kids who bounce from club to club every year because Daddy can't accept it when their li'l angel isn't a supahstahhh...

Nope, you definitely seem overly concerned. Why else would you be worried about how many teams they're fielding?

Most of their players play elsewhere and are supplementing. Not everyone shares your sick desire to only play on "top" teams (like that's even a thing up here. Lol.)

You're jealous that other kids are working hard to get better without the fancy patch and price tag. It's okay. No need to be embarrassed.

Oh, and since I know it's coming...I'm neither CA or anyone affiliated and I don't have a kid playing there. I'm just an adult with critical thinking skills who realizes soccer is a game that should be and can be accessible at all different levels and price points. I realize that additional training is a good thing.

LOL, so, you don't have any direct knowledge of what's happening, but are suddenly an expert on what this scam is? Understood.

I know two kids there. Very nice. Parents are lunatics. Seems like a good spot for them.

Become Elite...... but playing in town leagues, sounds very elite. Makes sense.
Relying on begging former players who left because of him to come to tryouts to Con the families into believing it’ll be a good standard.

                    6ft

Again, keep on knocking the kids working harder. Nothing wrong with playing in a town league. Get over yourself and your kid's "top team". It's New England. No. One. Cares.

And nope, no direct relation. What I did....and here's a novel suggestion for you....was speak with them and learn the facts before sprouting off misinformation on an anonymous forum like a tough guy.

Looks like you're jealous that there are kids out there willing to put in the work outside of their very elite clubs. Sorry your kid only plays too make you happy and has no passion.

Ha. It's not the kids that are the problem. It's the overcontrolling parents who bounce their kids from club to club until they like what they are told. CA is well-versed at that.

                        /2 cents

CA will work your kids physically, he adds physical fitness in his practices (I wish more coaches did this). He likes his boys team more than girls. Ian hated his guts and made firing him easier with collapse of Storm. There are a few DA players that started at Storm, it was a seed team, which is probably why he never pushed or risked losing anyone to go to Epping. Which was dumb since way back when, their NPL team won nationals. He definitely took his old mailing list with him as we never thought we would hear from him again based on our experience.

With that said, Eddie will also work your kid, and he was great with the younger girls (he looks like a kid himself), and they loved him. I can't say what it's like for older ages as we haven't seen him in years.

I don't know the HHS Boys coach.

If you have nothing, maybe your kid is starting out, or can't afford club prices, this "might" be an option.

Won't disagree with the meat of your post, but will make one comment about the physical conditioning: For the higher level player and team, physical conditioning should not be done much in training sessions. Nor should working on ball skills. That should be done at home.

That being said, I do understand this program is a mix of physical training work (many players go to trainer like that) along with traditional soccer training sessions, so arguably it's OK.

“Become Elite” but playing NHSL very misleading. Glorified town program ran by a crook. Can see right through his utter BS. Tryouts were a joke, glad we didn’t commit.

He’s a con-man. Doesn’t know how to develop players correctly. Demonstrated he can’t be trusted or can tell the truth. Pathological. Diabolical. Shameless.

So were you there at tryouts? If so and you listened when he had the parent meeting he explained very clearly that depending on parent input he could either register the team to play NHSL which would probably play saturdays and not interfere with club if they play. Plus by registering in NH the odds of playing in the fall were much higher than Ma.
He also made it clear that this is not meant to rival club soccer but is for the player who wants more than town but not ready to commit to club. My club player wants to play so she can enjoy playing the game without the pressure, you know like its supposed to be without a know it all parent on the sidelines coaching the team and the referees.
