We are taking our kids to TBU because my daughter has never won anything at FL Premier in the last 4 years of competitive soccer. Never got to semi in State Cup or even in a state wide tournament. We did pretty good in our local 3rd team tournaments but not even the grounds people are there looking at my daughter play. I hope that with all the new coaching hires that it will help the grass roots players because any player that is at U14 or older the ship has sailed. Thanks Thunder...

Facts....FP Girls program hasnt done anything local or statewide in the last 4 to 5 years. Facts. Bringing in some TBU Dinosaurs that are just milking that tit wont help your club become relevant. You should of just stayed the path of all new coaches but when you grabbed some TBU coaches it just shows your clubs desperate character. Then trying to throw jabs at TBU from afar on the Open Enrollment or not placing a financial burden. Those are the stupid little things why people keep harping on your wannabe club. We are from TBU but your just trying to be like us. Carry on Thunder

2000 players was an inflated number. There were 1200 registered and only a small number signed. There is panic behind the scenes.

Ask yourself why every other large and medium sized club in the Tampa Bay area isn't doing in person tryouts but FP is..... My guess is that every TBU player that shows up will be given an offer on the spot just to try to get some sort of personal victory, but you can bet that there will be plenty of former FP kids that end up coming to TBU as a result so no big deal.

You'll never even play against anything higher than our 2nd teams, and you'll lose a good portion of those too.

We were told by a very good source that FP regardless of how good the players were that if they were coming from a big club that they were being taken and put on top team.

Not a single player from the Boys DA or Girls ECNL has left to go to your club. We are talking about core players buddy. Dont get twisted a bench player with core player. So tell all why TBU is scared of FL Prem? Your players are garbage period. Without out players I dont care if you have the best coaches in the world. Your still the same garbage club with the same garbage players. Who havent won anything..
So do you imply that players are born as a talent and clubs just import them? How about development? A good coach can recognize and develop players. Perhaps not this year but the next few years. Quality of coaching does matter and the results will follow behind. Of course it takes time.

It all about development. Development takes 8 to 10 years. Sign your kids up for soccer at 10 years old. By the the time he/she is 18 they will be a good soccer player. The wins/losses that happens in between the 8-10 years does not matter.
