GPS is one of the best clubs in this area for player development. Very high quality trainers.

Totally bogus, in NJ, their training was average (in line with expectations) as far as a mid-level team. GPS wasn't in NJ long enough to make much of an impact or difference.

correct...more than half older Manalapan Soccer Club teams opted out of GPS trainers. i believe the younger teams through u11 were required to use GPS. several "a" teams and many top managed by GPS left the Manalapan Soccer Club for CSA/PSA/Copa or nearby town teams.

Yes nice advertising for bayern munchen that’s about it when it comes to “affiliation”. Why doesn’t Bayern bail them out of bankruptcy, I’m sure they can afford it!

The Manalapan agreement has been terminated.
That club and Monroe will use a local trainer team to manage both clubs.

It looks like GPS was an option for some town clubs to avoid the "daddy ball" label by bringing GPS in to manage teams but still retain control over the club and township fields.

True. And that is just a disillusion. Daddy and Mommy are still in control over the teams because they are the board members of the club and they dictate the terms with GPS.

it's not too different from partnering with Red Bulls so town clubs board members can shift the accountability while retain control.
