I think MFA shore will get ECNL because they
Their try outs are in May and everyone else in ECRL are in March.

Other ECRL clubs have try outs in March. So I’m thinking MFA shore has ECNL

There’s more GA Clubs to ECNL to come as well

If they don’t have ECNL, then the late try outs will hurt them.

They set tryouts late so the girls that get cut from CSA will be able to make it.

MFS is not getting ECNL. Stop thinking their tryout dates in May are a reason for them getting accepted.

Here are the rules for tryouts straight from ECNL Rules for 23/24.

2.13.2 Tryouts. Except for Rule 2.13.1 above, the ECNL does not mandate when a
club can and cannot have tryouts for its ECNL Teams. For purposes of clarification,
except for tryouts of ECNL Registered Players of other ECNL Clubs, tryouts for ECNL
Teams may be held at any time of the year. Leveraging or attempting to force a player
to register or pay fees for future years prior to the Designated Tryout Date, if the
player is not comfortable doing so, undermines the intent of the

And Rule 2.13.1 basically states that any ECNL team/club can recruit players at anytime as long as there is no tampering. Tampering basically states you cannot have a person attend a training session, invite them to tryouts, or try and persuade a player or family member that is currently a registered player to another ECNL or ECNL RL club, unless they have been released or approved by the ECNL

funny how the date is 5/1 here but 3/1 down in VA.

That's because the HS season is in the spring and all the ECNL games are essentially done by then.

ECNL and ECNL RL clubs can hold tryouts whenever they want. There is no set date to do it. 5/1 is a date that locks rosters for playoffs, but anytime before that date, an ECNL or ECNL RL club/team hosting a tryout cannot have a player currently rostered to an ECNL or ECNL RL team attend their tryouts, or even attend training sessions. So if a player wants to switch from MFA to PDA, or vice versa, they cannot be evaluated till after 5/1. Now does shady stuff go on behind closed doors. Absolutely.
