I know this is hard for the FESA crowd to understand, but new players don’t always have to be poached and bribed. If you have a good reputation and offer a good product, players come to you. Nobody had any idea those kids were even coming to tryouts.

Heck, the whole team should have arrived unannounced and JFC would have gladly kept the roster the same as it was at Clay and demoted remaining ECNL players to ECRL and bumped the rest down from there to make room.

JFC lost a top keeper and next best is drop off for sure. They will be competing to sniff mid table ECNL standings and won't even have a chance for playoffs. It could have been much worse without the Clay girls.

Trust me the kids at JFC are just a number as well. Don’t let the knew pitch fool you. It is the same disfunctional club. The only difference is the girls ECNL director now is more concerned with settling scores with his old club than player development. I have been a JFC parent for years. Luckily my daughter only has two more years left or we would lol for a less dysfunctional sport in NE Florida.
