i feel sorry for nefc people. the ecnl will never let them in and the nefc administration knows it. but they have to do this neverending crap on this board creating hope for the nefc families. nefc is desperate because otherwise the elite players will just go to stars. nefc should move to rhode island and then maybe just maybe the ecnl would let them in as a RI club.Comment

It is easy to be part of the ECNL if you are a NEFC parent, try-out for an ECNL club summer. You bash them (Stars and Scorpiops) so much as to how you are better than them on this site all the time. Why not prove it and come to one of their try-outs and see what happens. The funny thing is that only a few players at every age group are better than what is currentyl on these ECNL club teams at each age group. The problem is that the top players on NEFC are not better than the top players on Stars and they would have to eat crow to go back to Scorpions becasue it would mean that they made a mistake leaving 4 years ago.Comment

I will disagree and say that NEFC is a very good club but they are not as good as they post on this site. They are living off of 1 team at the moment that made it to Nationals last year. If NEFC did not give out scholarships for talent they would lose a lot of their top players in many age groups. This is the only reason why some parents stay with the club, the free ride. Players should only get scholarships money for fincial reasons. Somebody outside of the clubs should be monitoring this part of club soccer if they are non-profit organizations.Comment
