Maybe because they arent strong teams and are placed in the correct division.

Speaking only for the U13 and U14 boys...those are both the clubs third team.
Their first and second teams play in the top divisions.

Beyond that, fc is more about putting players in the correct environment to succeed at playing the right way. They will often challenge one of their teams to go up a level if they are finding success in the Fall playing the right way. The reverse is also true.

Winning the second division isn't the goal, I assure you. Helping players develop is

                  I'll tell you why

                  1. Fc Portlands boys teams were never very good. Maybe 1/8 but division 2 is where they are. They don't even come close to the quality or history of a westside boys program that has produced national and current international players.

                  2. Fc Portlands girls program just like CU is in shambles. Their top teams are in Ecnl aren't don't belong there. They benefitted from their recruitment scam but as you can tell when the shiny new idea 💡 burned out they are back to getting steam rolled playing teams that have always steamrolled Oregon teams.

Their second team (navy) traditionally has been decent in Oregon but crap outside of Oregon. I challenge you to provide facts otherwise. But what you see now is extremely disenfranchised players who paid for Ecnl but not traveling or division 2-3 players being forced to play division 1 and their teams are getting hammered.

                        You won't tell me why

[QUOTE=Unregistered;2030919]1. Fc Portlands boys teams were never very good. Maybe 1/8 but division 2 is where they are. They don't even come close to the quality or history of a westside boys program that has produced national and current international players.

Errr...fc portland has a national championship and countless state titles.
Looking at the boys age groups mentioned above, the boys u12 is probably the best in the state. The U13 is one of the better teams in DA. The U14 team is arguably the best team in the state.

Of course, you 'were never very good' with facts.....

Regarding the 04 DA team, is your comment based upon something other than wins and losses?

                            Wins and losses
                            Goals scored
                            Goal difference

Take your pick. They were not one of the best teams in the Spring. They are now.
