Clearly Chelsea Piers is a well run business. Owners are no dummies. They see the throngs of soccer kids going through their doors, not just CFC but other clubs as well. CFC Chelsea is a new branch for boys and girls run by AL, RS and JB. All are local HS coaches - all great coaches. Will use facilities at Trinity in Stamford and Blind Brook in Rye. Great idea for CFC to cover lower Fairfield county area.Comment

They've tried for years and have gone nowhere. CFCU boys is strong only because it follows the girls model of brining in a group of strong players from all over at U14; players trained at CFC branches and elsewhere. It won't be hard for CP/IMG to attract players. That's the easy part. Can they attract good-->great players. That's the hard part. Many have tried, few have succeeded to break the CFC multi-headed monster. Look at how hard BS is finding it to recover from their missteps on the girls side.Comment

CP-AC does appear to have a great roster of coaches, many of who are ex-CFC'ers. Price tag is a bit hefty, but the indoor facility is a factor.
