If you are part of the club, parent or coach, you know the one former mom who is behind this thread and posts. Just move on, let your kids play soccer and enjoy your life. Stop being bitter please.
No, no, and no...
Please, these girls were starters on SEACOAST/kings top team, the DOC is verbally abusive to his players. Bitter no, Bittersweet is more like it
Business 101 for young club directors, When you piss off your customers they tell everyone
This is a reality for almost every regional team. The best players eventually either move to the mother ship, or leave to play with a more competitive club (ECNL, DA). You can't blame the players for seeking out a more competitive environment. It also gives the players left behind a chance to step up and take the lead, not being able to rely on their superstar anymore. In the end, it's really best for everyone.
cuts are always painful!!
Former Revolution Academy <DAP> player and best technical player from Newton North HS in the past 10 years was cut during pre-season freshman year at Northeastern after being recruited to play there.
No that can't be right. Outright cut or just benched? But if you play DAP, you can't play highschool?
Everyone knows that crazy parents are #1 reason a player leaves mid season.
Absolutely... Just because Mia is crying about how the coach likes other players more or the parents feel disrespected by playing time it is a bad lesson for the kids when parents pull them mid season. You made a commitment to your teammates. Suck it up buttercup and tryouts for next season are just around the corner! Life lesson.

Innocent question since this was probably from the DOC: do you accept players that transfer from another club to Kings mid-season? If not, then much respect sir. However, if so, what is the positive life lesson for those kids? How do you justify this considering you think that they're buttercups?

Why? Club soccer is expensive, a major commitment, generally run by complete knuckleheads, and you are a customer. If you don't like the experience, leave. You'd be a fool to stay.
